Hi ! 🙂 I am so happy to meet you and I count it a great privilege to have you here. Please know you are always welcome, no matter what. We each have a story to share and I am learning that the messy broken parts become the most beautiful parts in the hands of our savior. Instead of wishing them away I am finding that it’s ok to invite them in, as they are where we are most real and where Jesus shines brightest.

Here is a little about me. To begin with, I love Jesus. He has become my dearest friend. I am  happily married to my other best friend and high school sweetheart.

I am blessed to be mom to five amazing children from college age to third grade.  Our littlest one is at home with Jesus in heaven and we anxiously await a happy reunion with him there. I have homeschooled our children since the beginning, and truly love it! .

I love reading books, writing poems, and making art.

I have taken a variety of online art classes with Carla Sonhein, Diane Culhane, Val Webb and Lynn Whipple, and have posted my assignments here when I can- (good and bad 😉 – My goal is to be consistent and post!) I also  link up with Holley Gerth, Bonnie Gray and Susan B. Mead on Wednesdays and Fridays when I can.

The main goal for this blog is practice. Practice painting, writing, and showing up- Practice not caring so much about the results and what other’s think- practice showing up, messing up and being real- practice trusting God to be my everything-

Thank you for joining me on this journey towards joy that’s only found in him. I truly believe that the best is yet to come. Let’s press on –higher up, farther in, forward, upward, towards more of Him!

Blessings, You are very loved!
